Black Heritage Reception
More than 100 alumni, students, faculty and administrators gathered in Low Rotunda on February 9 for
the annual Black Heritage Reception. Ron Simons ’82 was presented with the Black Heritage Award
and Renan Pierre ’86, ’87E received the Mentor Award. Below, Simons (right), an acting company
member of the Classical Theatre of Harlem and a member of the Board of Visitors, chats with Dean of
Student Affairs Chris Colombo and Associate Dean of Student Affairs Corlisse Thomas. Right, Pierre, an
architect and a member of the CCAA Board of Directors, accepts the Mentor Award.
