Jisung Park is currently a Ph.D. candidate in economics Harvard University, where he is an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and a Harvard Environmental Economics Fellow. His research interests center on applications of economic theory to public policy issues, particularly at the intersection of long-run economic growth determinants, health and human capital development, and environmental change.
In his senior year at Columbia, Park won a Rhodes Scholarship to pursue master’s degrees in Environmental Change and Management and in Development Economics at Oxford University. He is the founder of Sense and Sustainability, a blog on sustainable development issues, and he enjoys hiking, camping, and playing basketball.
