I've mostly participated in scientific research involving chemistry and physics, particularly as they apply to materials science. In particular, I researched the ways in which interactions at the atomic level can influence macroscopic properties of non-crystalline solids. While at Columbia I plan to get involved with diverse chemistry research areas, especially those with applications for the medical and industrial fields.
