Columbia College Women

Columbia College Women (CCW) presents a virtual Artist Talk with Aya Ogawa CC’97, playwright, director and actor of “The Nosebleed" in conversation with journalist Catherine Hong CC’93. Aya will discuss their play, which atones for failing to honor their father, with whom they had a difficult relationship, for more than a decade after his death. With Catherine, moderating, Aya will discuss the cultural, emotional and artistic journey toward creating this work of understanding and acceptance.

The talk precedes the regional premiere of “The Nosebleed” in Washington, D.C., from March 31 to April 23 at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre. Purchase a ticket for the Columbia theater outing on Friday April 21 via Columbia DC, which is organizing.

This event has been brought to you by Columbia College Women in partnership with the Columbia D.C. Club and the Asian Columbia Alumni Association.

Please Note: The virtual talk will have an audience Q&A at the end. A link to the recording will be emailed to all registrants a few days after the event.

Register for this event through Eventbrite.
