Young Alumni
The Young Alumni Fund Advisory Board, the Columbia College Young Alumni Association and the Young Leaders Council focus on the most effective ways to inform and engage young alumni (those who graduated within the last 10 years). The YAFAB and the YLC focus on developing the fundraising strategies while the CCYA board organizes social events to keep alumni involved and engaged.
Columbia College Young Alumni Board 2013–2014
Columbia College Young Alumni is an active community of graduates from the last 10 classes. CCYA works to build a rich network of connections and advisers for young alumni and provide interesting and dynamic opportunities for them to engage, lead and leave a mark on Columbia College, its students and the community. The Columbia College Young Alumni Board sets goals for CCYA at large, plans events, works with student groups and is an extension of the Columbia College Alumni Association to engage young alumni.
Young Alumni Fund Advisory Board 2013–2014
Young Alumni Fund Advisory Board members are the leaders of the Columbia College Young Alumni Fund. Selected from the previous 10 classes, YAFAB members work with the Young Alumni Fund staff in an advisory capacity. The principal mission of the YAFAB is to determine the most effective ways to inform and engage young alumni as well as to solicit classmates for gifts.
Young Leaders Council 2014–2015
The Young Leaders Council helps the Columbia College Fund achieve its goals in support of financial aid, the Core Curriculum, stipends for student internships and student services by building a strong foundation of young alumni leadership donors. Using personal and professional networks, members identify, engage and solicit their peers.
