Columbia College Dean James J. Valentini and Columbia Engineering Dean Mary C. Boyce helped the Columbia Undergraduate Admissions staff mail early decision admissions’ decisions. The first members of the Class of 2018 were selected from the 3,298 early decision applications, a 6 percent increase in applications from last year and the largest early decision applicant pool in Columbia history.
