Undergraduate students who identify as FLI (First Generation, Low-Income) are invited to attend an exclusive Career Fair Preview ahead of the Fall Engineering and Tech Career Fair! This backstage pass will include:

• Early access to the Career Fair
• Chances to practice your introduction with a small group of peers
• Opportunities to connect with employers interested in hiring FLI students
• Tips for navigating the fair and approaching employer tables
• Guidance on how to highlight skills gained through life and work experiences
• Sample questions to ask prospective employers

This opportunity is especially of interest to students in First in Family (FIF), Academic Success Programs (ASP), the Program for Academic Leadership and Service (PALS), the Jack Kent Cooke Scholars Program, and GS FLI community.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The recommended dress code for the Career Fair is business or business casual attire. Choose an outfit that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and prepared. Suits are available to reserve in advance from CCE’s Clothing Closet.

We invite you to schedule an appointment with a career counselor or come by during daily Quick Questions hours (Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm) for support in developing your materials or preparing for the fair.
