Have you ever been assigned to do group work for a class with students from other cultural backgrounds than you? What have you done to prepare yourself to be part of an intercultural team within a professional setting? Building and strengthening your intercultural communication skills requires intentional practice and reflection. Join Catherine E. Ross, Executive Director of Columbia’s Center for Teaching and Learning and staff from the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) in this interactive session that will give you practical tools to help you resolve future intercultural miscommunication and misunderstandings.

This session will not be recorded.

This event is part of ISSO Engage. Attend 3 or more ISSO Engage programs/events between March 18-May 3, 2024 to receive a special invitation to an end of the year celebration with food and prizes.
