Kevin is a junior in Columbia College majoring in Mathematics and Financial Economics. His current research project in the Department of Economics focuses on the industrial organization of the taxi/rideshare sector. The project entails implementing machine learning techniques, specifically Q-learning, to optimize and model driver behavior. This research will hopefully shed light onto how drivers make decisions and how they can better maximize profits/utility.
