Applied Mathematics
Description:
In high school, my research and academic interests were mainly centered around inorganic and physical chemistry, more specifically in organometallic synthesis and applications of field-split complexes. I worked with the Besson group at George Washington University in synthesizing nitro- and iodo-functionalized trispyrazolylborates with applications as catalysts for cross-coupling reactions and as spin qubits for a quantum computer. However, here at Columbia, I am focused more on analysis and applied mathematics, and am looking to shift my research interests further towards these areas.
