Gerard Ramm is an enrolled member of the Quapaw Tribe Of Oklahoma and plans on pursuing issues of representing Native Americans both through language and performance. His research brings him into Native territory to study Powwows and other social gatherings that seek to solidify and purvey Native identity. He is currently pursuing his PhD in English & Comparative Literature at the University of California, Berkeley.
