Get an insider's take on at the outlook for NYC. The current pandemic has sparked a number of conversations about the short-term and long-term trajectory of dense urban cities, with New York City being the focal point. Adjunct Professor Francesco Brindisi, associate director for economic analysis, forecasting, and tax policy at the NYC Office of Management and Budget, will join CCYA for a discussion on the future of the city Columbia calls home. Brindisi will address questions including: What has this year looked like for the NYC Office of Management and Budget, given the pandemic? What factors and assumptions are currently affecting NYC's budget planning? What does the data say about urban flight now and in the future? What might post-pandemic NYC look like?
