The 71st Alexander Hamilton Award Dinner, honoring Lisa L. Carnoy CC'89, took place Thursday, November 15, 2018.
The Alexander Hamilton Medal is the highest honor awarded to a member of the Columbia College community for distinguished service to the College and accomplishment in any field of endeavor. It is presented by the Columbia College Alumni Association; James J. Valentini, dean, Columbia College; and Lee C. Bollinger, president, Columbia University.

Lisa L. Carnoy has been a Columbia leader and inspiration for more than 30 years. As a role model, advisor and benefactor to students, alumni, parents and friends, she has left a deep imprint on the College and the University and holds the distinction of being the first female medalist.
